After setting up your account, you have the option to Create a Group or Join a Group. If your lab is new to any of our applications, you should create a group. If your lab is already using eLabJournal and you want to gain access to their workspace, you should send a request to the group administrator to join the group.
Click Join Group to view a list of all labs in your company or institute. Choose the lab you would like to join in your organization and click Request an invitation. Note that groups in the system are automatically linked to an organization when the group is created by a user. Users are linked to an organization in a system based on their email domain. In the event that your lab moves to another organization, please contact us to migrate your group.
Once the request has been sent, the administrator of the group receives an email notification as well as a message on the dashboard informing them of the request.
