A group is a secure environment for your lab, research group, or department in an academic institute or company to work jointly on projects, share a lab inventory, share procedures and SOP’s and share data. As a user you are a member of a group and depending on your user role and permission you have access to information and data shared in the lab. As a user you can be a member of multiple labs, with the possibility of having a different user role with different permissions in each group. Depending on the active group setting you access data in that lab.
