To make a protocol available for other members in the lab you can share a protocol. Open the protocol and click Share.
You can choose to share protocols with one or more groups by selecting the group by selecting the corresponding checkboxes. The protocol will then be available in the selected groups and are accessible for other users to use in their experiments. When sharing a protocol, you can choose to also copy the labels to the group to which the protocol is shared.
To make a protocol publicly available, you can select the corresponding option. In this way anyone can access the procedure and use it for their own experiments. If you publish a protocol, you can also easily link it to a procedure in publications.
Note that if your company or institute has an eLabJournal Private Cloud or an eLabJournal On-Premise installation, access to publicly shared protocols may be blocked based on the system configuration of your organisation.
